A few weeks ago I was talking with
glacial_witch, and the topic turned to Christmas presents and stories and the writing there of, and what characters should head off and have an adventure together. She said 'Dite and Karla and I said Dinah and Karla. But I hadn't written anything since Thanksgiving and I told her no promises.
And then, last Saturday, the whole damn plot just kind of.... popped into existence in my head. Twenty thousand words later . . . there is a story. Since it IS twenty thousand words, it's posted in parts to mine and Shanie's writing community, and I'm linking to it so as not to spam people.
Hope you all like it. Merry Christmas and Happy Solstice.
